Energy Star Products
Whenever possible, Homelife offers equipment that is "Energy Star" rated (see left sidebar). This ensures we are doing our part to maximize energy efficiency and minimize our impact on the environment. It's also great for your electric bill.
Energy Management
Lighting accounts for 20% of all electricity consumed in the U.S., and 50% of that is wasted with inefficient light sources or in unoccupied rooms. Household lighting accounts for 12-15% of our household utility bill (source: American Lighting Association). Saving on these costs becomes easy for the Homelife customer since the lights can be automatically dimmed to levels barely noticeable to the eye, or turned off completely when you leave the room.
